To support preservation of Balinese Culture, BPR Lestari, through Lestari Mebanjar program, collaborated with younger generations of ST. Bineka Binoh Kelod Neighborhood that was preparing to join ogoh-ogoh competition.

The symbolic award ceremony has been held on Tuesday (15/02) that was also attended by the member of DPRD of Denpasar City, I Bagus Jagra Wibawa, SH, Village Administrator, and the Trustee of Sekaa Truna Bineka Binoh Kelod Neighborhood. In this occasion, BPR Lestari also asked for the willingness of I Bagus Jagra Wibawa, SH, to become the Ambassador of Lestari Mebanjar.

“This Sekaa truna is the foundation of banjar. It also serves as a forum to practice organizational skill for the younger generations of banjar. Here, the younger generations of Binoh Kelod Neighborhood can improve creativity as well as preserving Balinese culture. Previously, I also asked these younger generations to make presentation for sponsor to participate in this ogoh-ogoh competition. So, actually this activity in this Sekaa Truna is really beneficial for them later”, said I Bagus Jagra Wibawa, SH who is also well-known as Gus Ari.

“We were born and grow up in Bali. For almost 23 years we have continued to grow, one of which is because of the support from the Balinese people as well. It’s great to see the motivation of the younger generations of Bali now who are not leaving the cultural roots of their homeland. Our mission is to make the Balinese culture steady as exist”, said Luh Ketut Citarasmini, the Compliance Director of BPR Lestari Bali.

Consistent since 2014, this Lestari Mebanjar program is a part of #MakeAnImpact mission. Having positive impacts in every activity of Balinese people is the biggest goal of BPR Lestari, one of which is to participate in preserving Balinese culture through the younger generations.

“We continue to work closely with the customary village and sekaa teruna in Bali to make a good collaboration, sustainable and keep giving a positive impacts for Bali”, concluded Luh Ketut Citarasmini. “Thank you so much for BPR Lestari.
