Entering mid-year of 2019, the efforts of BPR Lestari Bali (member of Lestari Group) to increase lending in the MSMEs received good res from several banks. This time Bank CIMB Niaga again disbursed credit of Rp. 150 Billion to BPR Lestari through the linkage program.
The signing of this collaboration was carried out on Friday (6/14) at BPR Lestari Teuku Umar which was immediately attended by the CEO BPR Lestari Bali, Pribadi Budiono while from CIMB Niaga the Head of Micro Linkage, Hendra Gunawan, Bali Nusra Business Manager Micro Linkage, Ida Bagus Harta Mulyana, Relationship Manager, Puty Nurdiansari.
"We want to grow together with BPR Lestari Bali. Moreover, many BPR Lestari Bali credit customers are engaged in the MSMEs. Since 2001, we have focused on channeling funds through linkages with general banks. The growth of BPR to date is extraordinary, wealthy and to this day is still a milestone for us. We hope this collaboration can encourage positive growth for each business, "said Hendra.
The collaboration between BPR Lestari Bali and CIMB Niaga is not the first time. Since 2008 there has been a synergy to focus on supporting the progress of MSMEs. "This is not the first time BPR Lestari Bali has collaborated with CIMB Niaga. With this synergy, it is expected to be able to drive the progress of the MSMEs in Bali "said Pribadi.
Facing high competition, both in terms of collecting third party funds and credit distributed, BPR Lestari Bali managed to maintain a positive trend in developing the company's business. Referring to the quarterly financial performance report for 2019, lending grew by 20.90% year-over-year (YoY) from Rp 2,594 Trillion to Rp 3,136 Trillion. This figure shows that the growth of BPR Lestari Bali loans is double the national scale BPR credit growth which recorded 10.70% YoY. This credit growth also showed positive growth and made BPR Lestari Bali hold 29.5% of the BPR share credit market in Bali.
The focus of BPR Lestari Bali to continue channeling funds to the MSME sector will continue this year. "We are grateful to CIMB Niaga for the collaboration that has been carried out so far. Hopefully, in the future we can further strengthen lending to MSMEs in Bali, "said Pribadi.
