Welcoming International Children's Day this June, BPR Lestari Bali (member of Lestari Group) once again held #LestariforKids as one of the programs of the #MakeanImpact mission. This activity is held on Saturdays and Sundays (15-16 /6). Rice is delivered directly by Lestarian (BPR Lestari employees).
As a company that operates in the Bali region, BPR Lestari wants to contribute to a better change for the people of Bali. Through this program, BPR Lestari routinely distributes rice every 2 months to its 40 orphanages. Each orphanage gets 200 kg of rice so that a total of 8 tons of rice are distributed.
"Beginning last June was International Children's Day. We can make this moment an alarm for us to keep caring for the younger siblings at the Orphanage. Hopefully, this assistance can be useful for them, "said Wisnu Merthayoga, Marketing Communications Manager of BPR Lestari Bali.
"Usually the aid comes most crowded before a certain holiday or at the end of the year. But we are thankful and give thanks to BPR Lestari for being a permanent donor and regularly sending rice, "said Mrs. Ketut, one of the administrators of the fostered orphanage.
At present, there are 6 BPR affiliates under Lestari Group namely BPR Lestari Bali (Denpasar), BPR Lestari Jatim (Malang), BPR Lestari Jateng (Solo), BPR Lestari Jabar (Bekasi), BPR Lestari Banten (Tangerang), and BPR Lestari Jakarta (West Jakarta). Besides in Bali, the #LestariforKids program is also simultaneously held in all BPRs under the Lestari Group. A total of 8 fostered orphanages on the island of Java. "Lestari for Kids is our national program, management is targeting there will be 100 fostered orphanages in Java and Bali," concluded Wisnu.
