The growth period of children is the period that must be considered. Besides fulfilling the need for daily activities, guaranteed nutritional intake also needs to be considered. #LestariPeduliAnak through Lestari for Kids that has been held in the third week of last March distributed 4,6 Tons of Rice that was distributed to 37 Fostered Orphanages in Bali Island.
“Most of these Fostered Orphanages do not have regular donors meanwhile the needs are many. We hope a support by distributing rice regularly can help alleviate the monthly needs”, said the Compliance Director of BPR Lestari Bali, Ni Luh Ketut Citarasmini.
BPR Lestari hopes that with a safe food need, the children can focus to learn and achieve their dreams. The children can be more motivated to follow activities that can develop their talent.
Besides BPR Lestari Bali, Lestari for Kids program is also conducted simultaneously in 5 other BPR below the auspices Lestari Group namely BPR Lestari of East Java (Malang), BPR Lestari of Middle Java (Solo), BPR Lestari of Banten (Tangerang), BPR Lestari of West Java (Bekasi) and BPR Lestari of Jakarta (West Jakarta).
The mission of BPR Lestari is still consistent until now which is #MakeanImpact. We invite all Lestarian (designation for BPR Lestari employees) and the wider community to have a positive impact on others, simply starting from the scope that is around us. “At the beginning of the year it had been held a face-to-face schooling, but now the children are back to study online. So the activities are mostly in the orphanage. Thank you BPR Lestari for always helping us so the food needs here are fulfilled”, said Sion (Bina Eklasia Orphanage).
#LestariPeduliAnak is the concern of BPR Lestari to the younger generations through other several programs. Such as support for creativity of younger generations of Balinese through Lestari Mebanjar and financial support to continue study by Beasiswa Generasi Lestari.
