Supporting MSMEs To Survive, BPR Lestari Group Routinely Holds Lestari Entrepreneur Club

MSMEs have an important role in driving the pace of the people's economy. Its contribution to the Indonesian economy is quite large. Millions of jobs are created from their businesses.

 

BPR Lestari Group believes that this sector needs to be supported. Therefore, since the beginning of 2020, BPR Lestari Group has taken the initiative to regularly hold monthly event. "We created the Lestari Entrepreneur Club, with the goal to provide support in the form of business development education," said Alex P. Chandra, Founder and CEO of PT. Lestari Capital, the holding company in charge of 7 BPR Lestari Group.

 

On Thursday, 22 October 2020 the Lestari Entrepreneur Club was held virtually via Zoom for the second time. This event took the theme "Local Brand Business: Creative or Die?" with the speakers as follows: Coach Ben Abadi (Master Coach), Windu Segara Senet (Owner of Mangsi Grill) and Agung Wedha (Owner of Bali Organic Subak).

 

The event which lasted for 2 hours was joined by 400 MSMEs players in Java and Bali. "We invited our merchants and customers of the BPR Lestari Group, not only in Bali," said Alex. For information, there are currently 7 BPRs in 7 provinces in Java and Bali that operate under the BPR Lestari Group, including BPR Lestari Bali (Denpasar), BPR Lestari Jatim (Malang), BPR Lestari Central Java (Solo), BPR Lestari Banten (Tangerang). ), BPR Lestari Jabar (Bekasi), BPR Lestari Jakarta (West Jakarta) and the recently acquired BPR Bina Arta Swadaya Yogyakarta, which will later change its name to BPR Lestari Jogja (Yogyakarta)

 

In addition to regularly holding this event, BPR Lestari also develops ‘Order From Home’ feature in the LestariDiskon application. "They have to keep selling, even though market conditions change. Consumers now shop all online, so we prepare stalls for merchants to sell from anywhere. Orders will be delivered via online motorcycle taxis or fleets prepared by merchants,”Alex concluded.
